We Australians take great pride in our barbecues – as if our Aussieness is on show when the tongs come out.
Few things are more deeply ingrained. We don’t claim to understand it, but we get it. And we take our ‘barbecue standards’ (and not-so standards) very seriously.
More than 10 years ago we arrived at the recipe for our classic Australian Beef Sausages. We knew we were onto a good thing, and so haven’t changed it. Just recently we happened to grab a pack off-the-shelf and throw our humble snags into a Sausage King competition. Waddaya know – we won!
